The heart of JJ Colony, where limited space, financial hardship, and constant household noise make learning difficult, countless children struggle to find a suitable environment to study. Many families live in single-room homes, where a child’s dream of education often competes with the realities of daily survival.

Understanding this challenge, Rupantaran Library – An Initiative of Rupantaran Ek Prayas Trust was established with a simple yet powerful belief: every child deserves a peaceful space to learn, grow, and dream.

Our mission is to create a safe, quiet, and inspiring learning environment for underprivileged students who lack basic educational facilities at home. Beyond providing books and study space, the library serves as a place of hope, discipline, guidance, and opportunity.

We envision a future where no child’s education is limited by poverty, overcrowded living conditions, or lack of resources. Through accessible learning support and a nurturing atmosphere, we aim to empower students to build confidence, achieve academic success, and unlock brighter futures for themselves and their communities.

Development of education and related values in the deprived section of society and capacity building in them for changing their socio-economic condition is the core mission of the Trust. Every child of our country, society and family should get proper guidance and ambience for better education and career. Every best book must be available for them and one must not leave his studies only due to lack of basic facilities for Education. We must leave this earth only after making some improvement in its existing environment.

Our vision is to build a strong and accessible library in the JJ Colony slum area, where learning opportunities are available for both youth and children. Many young people face challenges because of limited opportunities and lack of resources. We want to create a learning and resource center where they can explore different career options, receive proper guidance, and build a better future. We aim to provide an encouraging environment where students can do self-study, develop a growth mindset, improve their communication skills, and focus on skill development. Our goal is to empower young minds with knowledge, confidence, and opportunities to grow.
